Round 5 review and Round 6 preview

The Eagles had a win against Lindisfarne last to take them to equal top with 3 other sides. It was disappointing that the Blues could not field a side in the reserves. The under 18’s went down to Kingborough in an exciting game where the young Eagles will have learnt from the loss.

This week we travel to the Twin Ovals to take on the Tigers and with the likelihood of three great tussles let’s hope there is a big crowd to cheer our boys on.

Congratulations to all players selected in the rep sides.

Round 3 review and Round 4 preview

The Eagles had three good wins against Sorell at home last week the under 18’s came from behind to snatch a thrilling win by 3 points in the last quarter.

The reserves played solid footy to win easily the club thank those players who were given a call on the Thursday night to fill in for those injured and working.

The seniors were kept honest by a hard working Sorell in the first half but after some stirring words from Jon Murray at half time the eagles went up a cog and after kicking 11 goals in the third quarter went on in the last for an easy win.

The Under 18 team are in need of a Team Manager so if you are interested please see Coach Nic Clayton or Footy Manager David Banks.

PLAYER MILESTONES:

This week Shane Bonnitcha plays his 150^th Senior Game for the club hope there are many more Bonna.
